XXVII „President’s Cup” memoriał Piotra Nurowskiego, Prezesa PKOl

The XXVII edition of the „President’s Cup” – one of the oldest and most prestigious golf tournaments in Poland – was delayed slightly due to heavy rain at the start. However, as the first group of golfers teed off, the rain stopped, and the beautiful weather and exceptional atmosphere accompanied the participants throughout the entire event.

The tournament, held in memory of Piotr Nurowski, President of the Polish Olympic Committee, brought together many talented players who competed for valuable prizes and titles.

In the „Longest Drive” category on hole #5, Maciej Paprocki claimed victory with an incredible drive of 285 meters. Meanwhile, on hole #7, the „Nearest to the Pin” prize went to Robert Gosik, who made an impressively precise shot, stopping just 1.28 cm from the flag!

The results of the participants, both men and women, were excellent, highlighting the high level of performance at this year’s edition. The winner in the women’s category was Magdalena Jakubowska, with a net score of 80. In the men’s category, Krzysztof Wójcik took first place with a net score of 70. Mirek Pisarski also achieved the same result, but Krzysztof won the title due to his lower handicap.

Among the younger players, the youngest participant, Hanna Mroczek, stood out. In her debut tournament, she received a special prize – a green fee voucher, sponsored by the tournament partner, Modry Las Golf & Country Club.

In addition to the exciting competition, all participants were awarded fantastic prizes and memorabilia, generously provided by the event’s co-organizers and partners. These included medals from Grzegorz Połaniecki, President of Enter Air, vouchers to Casa Ristorante, prizes for Longest Drive and Nearest to the Pin from Timothy Corcoran, and Italian wines from Wine Partner.

We would like to sincerely thank all the participants for their engagement and our partners for their support in organizing this exceptional event.
